WELCOME TO THE NIAGARA FRONTIER SECTION OF THE A&WMA DINNER MEETINGS Please do not drive directly to the tour location this afternoon (Thursday, September 26). We have been advised that the Buffalo River Compost Facility has a limited number of parking spots (15) with no parking on the access road. Therefore, we are asking everyone to meet at Riverworks (359 Ganson Street, Buffalo, NY 14203 - this is where the dinner meeting will be held after the tour). Cars will leave at approximately 4:50 as it only takes a few minutes to get to the site. Please be at Riverworks before then if you plan on going on the tour. Please check this map and look for us at the approximate location shown by the red square. Our next dinner meeting will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024 and includes a tour of the NOCO Buffalo River Compost Facility (47 Ensign Street, Buffalo, NY 14210). The dinner meeting will be held at the Buffalo RiverWorks (359 Ganson Street, Buffalo, NY 14203). Following the dinner, we will have a presentation by Gary Carrel and Tyler Hamilton from ECDEP. CONSTITUTION AND BYLAWS UPDATE The current (2015) version of the Air & Waste Management Association - Niagara Frontier Section Constitution and Bylaws were reviewed and determined to need some updating. The revision includes grammar and punctuation corrections in addition to the summary of changes below. A redline and clean version of the revised Constitution and Bylaws being proposed, along with a summary of the changes, are here for review. The Board approved the changes in April and the members are asked to vote here on the proposed changes. SEMINARA&WMA-NFS and BAPG held their seminar on January 25, 2024 at Templeton Landing and it was a big success.
