NYSDEC Summer Camp - 2022

The AWMA Niagara Frontier Chapter is currently accepting applications for the 2022 NYSDEC Summer Camps.  Click here for further information and the application.

ENVIRUN

The 30th Annual EnviRun will be held on April 23, 2022 on Goat Island at Niagara Falls State Park.  Click here to register and for more details.

SEMINAR

A&WMA-NFS is planning on holding an in-person seminar on April 28, 2022 at Templeton Landing.  Additional information should be posted in early February.

ABOUT THE NIAGARA FRONTIER SECTION OF A&WMA

The Niagara Frontier Section of the Air and Waste Management Association (AWMA NFS) is a non-profit organization for people involved in the environmental profession consisting of individual and corporate members from the Western New York area. Members come from local universities, governments, NYS Department of Conservation (NYSDEC), local industries, environmental engineering/consulting, legal firms and analytical testing. 

The Niagara Frontier is the Section of the Air & Waste Management Association located in Western New York.  The Niagara Frontier Section includes the chapter known as the Genesee Fingers Lake Chapter of AWMA.

Locally the AWMA NFS is involved in several areas which directly aid and promote environmental activities, including: monthly dinner meetings with guest topic speakers, an annual day-long environmental education seminar, scholarships for college students, Dave Sauer High School scholarship, Earth Day grants, and Envirun.

Air and Waste Management (AWMA) (www.awma.org) is a technical and educational organization with over 16,000 members worldwide. The AWMA serves its members and the public by promoting environmental responsibility, and providing technical and managerial leadership in the environmental field.
