The William A. Faust Award
The William A. Faust Award was established in 1993 by the Air & Waste Management Association, Niagara Frontier Section, to recognize a member for distinguished service and outstanding contributions to our Section.
Our 2022 honoree is Mark Hans. Mark has been a member of the Section for many years and served as Chair in 2016-2017 and was recognized as the Outstanding Director in 2018. Mark currently holds the position of Membership Director. He manages our website, upgrades and coordinates our PayPal account, and is on the EnviRun and Seminar committees. Through the many years of his membership with this organization, he has always been willing to pitch in whenever assistance is needed.
Mark grew up in Clarence, New York and received a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University at Buffalo in 1976, and his MBA in 1980. He was a licensed Professional Engineer in NY.
