Presentation Abstract

Niagara Transformer, a local company with an 80-year manufacturing history in Western New York recently completed construction of a $15M manufacturing facility on a parcel that was accepted into and successfully remediated under the New York State Brownfield Cleanup Program.  The presentation will discuss some of the key considerations and challenges that were navigated during the brownfield cleanup program process, the remediation approach, and the resulting benefits.
